Working at Nightmare Manor has increased my creativity. Each weekend in October, a small team and myself are tasked with quickly and efficiently working on multiple actors. This job has positively affected my imagination and taught me to work well under extreme pressure and manage my time to ensure everyone is ready on time.

Tech Lab Aid
My experience working as a tech lab aid gave me a better knowledge of how to correctly print to ensure colors look the same on paper as in the original image. In addition to printing, I also increased my understanding of Adobe Photoshop due to needing to answer questions I only sometimes had the answer to. This improved my ability to quickly learn new techniques due to people relying on me for information.

Working as a waitress and host has made me highly knowledgeable in customer service and ensuring everyone is satisfied, even in imperfect situations. This job has also improved my ability to multitask, as juggling 7-9 tables causes you to need to know how to be efficient with your time.

This volunteer experience helped me gain further empathy for animals, gave me insight into how much work it takes to rehabilitate wild animals, and introduced me to people from many different regions. This helped me learn how to work through language barriers and make new friends along the way.

Student Project Manager
hyperSpace is a week-long design charette led by the junior class at Rochester Institute of Technology. Being tasked with managing a group of 6 taught me how to delegate and ensure all holes are filled in a project. One of my primary goals for this project was to help my sophomore members model in place using Revit and introduce my freshman member to the program. I completed both goals while reaching a finished project by our deadline.
